DAY 1: SINGAPORE ✈ COLOMBO
Depart from Singapore Changi International Airport to Colombo - the capital city of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, transfer to Negombo.
DAY 2: NGOMBO / PINNAWALA / SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS / DAMBULLA
Transfer from Negombo to Pinnawala.
[PINNAWALA ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE]
An orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village, 13km northeast of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Watch as the yfeed at 9:15am, 1:15pm & 5pm and take a river bath twice a day at 10am & 2pm respectively for an experience that could never be felt anywhere else on earth. Proceed to lunch at local restaurant.
[SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS]
Believed to contain the ruins of an ancient palace complex, is built during the reign of King Kasyapa (477-495AD). It is one of the 8 world heitage sites in Sri Lanka and is renowned for its ancient paintings (frescoes).
DAY 3: KANDY / TEA PLANTATION / NUWARA ELIYA
Transfer from Dambulla to Kandy. Visit [Kandy Temple]. Visit a [Tea Plantation], where the best tea in the world is produced. Here, you can observe all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also learn how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Lunch at local restaurant, then transfer to Sri Lanka's most popular hill resort, [Nuwara Eliya]. Known for its invigorating mountain climate and scenery, Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country producing a significant share of the world's best tea. (A light jacket is recommended for Nuwara Eliya tour)
DAY 4: NUWARA ELIYA / ELLA / YALA / KATARAGAMA
Visit a [Nuwara Eliya Town]. Transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. [Ella] is ideal for leisurely treks. Trudge through tea plantations, temple sites and waterfalls through the day. Welcome the night with clear skies, twinkling stars and the distant glow of light houses in the Southern Coast. Though there are just a handful of guesthouses and hotels here, Sri Lankan is warm and friendly signature hospitality is more than available at every place. Visit the [Yala National Park], is the most visited and second largest national park is Sri Lanka. The park consists of five blocks, two of which are now open to public and also adjoining parks. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, leopards and aquatic birds.
DAY 5: KATARAGAMA / KOGGALA / HIKKADUWA / KOGGALA
Visit a [Kataragama Temple]. Transfer to Galle, Visit a [Stillt Fisherman] at Wligama. [Hikkaduwa] proves to be a true bliss as you take a glass-bottomed boat ride observing a flashy marine life painted wit han abundance of corals. Transfer to Koggala.
DAY 6: KOGGALA / COLOMBO / SINGAPORE
Kitulgala is a small town in the west of Sri Lanka. Transfer to [Colombo for a City Tour] including the Pettah Bazzar - where you can find factory outlets like ODEL, Barefoot, House of Fashion, Paradise Road, handicraft shops, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple. residential areas- wher eyou can find stately homes of the affluenet and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) - an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China. After dinner, transfer to airport for your flight back to Singapore.
DAY 7: COLOMBO ✈ SINGAPORE
